About Us
Action's founder Lisa Russell has lived and worked with dogs since she was ten years old.
In 1983 she completed her service with the USAF Canine Unit. In 1984 she started Actions Dog Training in Jacksonville Florida.
During her career she has trained Drug & Arson dogs even dogs for the television show "America's Most Wanted". She has also trained dogs for Assistance and Therapy work. She is noted for her ability to work withdrawn dogs or socially mal-adjusted dogs.
She has worked with hundreds of pet dogs and their owners, over the years.
She's made appearances on Local radio shows, written articles about dogs for Local news papers. She opened the first and still the only Cage free Dog Day & Night Care facility in Northeast Florida.
Lisa is best known for her knowledge and ability to evaluate canine behavior and teach owners how to understand their dogs behavior and also resolve problems.
She shares her life with her husband and their Shetland Sheep dog, Duncan and mix breed Ren.
